Dr. Franzeska Sampson-Bacchus is a professor, social worker, and accomplished author. She is the founder of Taking Care of Our Mental Health (TCOOMH). Dr. Sampson-Bacchus assists both new and established authors in pursuing their writing dreams and aspirations, believing that writing can empower individuals. She is passionate about mental wellness and conducts wellness workshops both in-person and virtually. As the founder of TCOOMH, her goals are to work with communities and provide them with valuable resources and information. Knowledge is power, and information is essential for empowerment.

Matthew Bacchus (He/Him) is the Assistant Director and Social Media Manager at Taking Care of Our Mental Health (TCOOMH). He supports the organization’s mission by leading outreach efforts, managing daily operations, and creating engaging digital content that promotes mental wellness and community support. Passionate about accessibility and inclusion, Matthew uses social media to foster safe, informed, and empowering conversations around mental health.

Kenneth Chapman Jr. (He/Him) serves as the Secretary and Outreach Coordinator for Taking Care of Our Mental Health (TCOOMH), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental wellness in our communities. In this role, Kenneth oversees administrative operations, maintains clear and organized communication, and supports the organization’s strategic goals. Through outreach and community engagement, he works to build partnerships, raise awareness, and connect individuals with vital mental health resources.
